Bertha Mae Daniel

Bertha Mae Daniel was born April 28,1934 in Cunningham, Tennessee to Samuel Rogers Jr. and Eula Ramey Rogers, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Leslie W. Daniel; brothers, Bailey L. Rogers, Thomas W. Rogers and Gleason R. Rogers; sisters, Shirley G. Rogers, Elizabeth D. Rogers, Obie L. Sweatt, and Ella L. Brown. Bertha was the first born of fifteen children.

Bertha was educated at J.K. Dickson Elementary School and Burt High School in Clarksville, Tennessee. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, in Cunningham, Tennessee. She loved her church and was a Mother on The Mothers Ministry.

Bertha retired from Aladdin Industries after 28 years. She was an avid gardener and she loved fishing and shopping. She also loved her pet family which included Bleu, Java, Chino, Lucky and Basil.

Bertha was blessed with six beautiful children, Alfred Jonah Ramey (deceased), Pamela K. Ramey (deceased), Ted (Sharon) Ramey, Larry (Beverly) Daniel, Regina Daniel and Tamara Bagwell.

Bertha transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on March 14, 2018. She leaves to cherish in her memory, sons: Ted D. Ramey (Sharon) and Larry D. Daniel ( Beverly), daughters, Regina Daniel and Tamara Bagwell; sisters, Maggie Batson, Nancy Reed, Carol Rogers and Penny Rogers; brothers, John (Priscilla) Rogers, Cullumn (Ruby) Rogers and George (Hazel) Rogers; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
