Age 33, of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, May 16, 2017.
Brittany Patrice Manning was born September 27, 1983. She was the youngest of three children born to Raymond and Shirley Manning. Brittany's life span was exhausted on May 16th, 2017 when God saw the road was going to be tougher, he gently closed her eyes and whispered "Peace Be Thine".
We gather today to celebrate the going home of a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, niece, friend and truly an unforgettable person to all that met her.
Brittany attended Metropolitan Public Schools and received her GED at Job Corp in Muhlenberg, KY. She attended Remington College for Cosmetology and also Nashville Auto Diesel College for auto mechanics.
Brittany lived a full life that was not without its challenges and struggles, but being the strong willed woman that she was, she faced every obstacle head-on and diligently.
Preceded in death by father, Raymond E. Manning; maternal grandmother, Nellie P. Strawther and paternal grandmother, Margie Taylor-Manning.
She's survived by her mother, Shirley Taylor-Manning; children, DarShaun Nicole Manning (13), DaRius Edward Manning (11) and Darrick Taylor Manning (8); sisters, Darcye E. Manning and RaeShauna J. (Kwalyn) Manning-Alexander; devoted friends, Linda Copeland, Regina Jordan, and Robbin Mckissack; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers; Special heartfelt thanks to Susan Brantley and staff with the Safe Haven Family Shelter, the doctors and nurses at TriStar Summit Hospital ICU and SICU units for their diligent care.
