Constance Rochelle Dunn Holloway

March 22, 1965 — July 25, 2015

Constance Rochelle Dunn-Holloway departed this earthly home and entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2015. Constance was an only child born to the late Evelyn Mae Dunn. Although Constance was an only child, she was raised as a sibling to her three cousins, David (Bear), Jackie (Jack Rabbit), and Evelyn (PeeWee) Shivers by her devoted aunt Marjorie Shivers. She received her education in Metropolitan Nashville Public School.

Constance was always a joyful person with a beautiful smile; she loved helping others, singing in the church choir and Women’s Ministry, she had a special love for her grandchildren and little cousins. Constance was a dedicated worker at Imperial Manor. Constance and Thomas had a friendship in their younger years. They reunited and married September 30, 2006.

She leaves to celebrate her life husband, Thomas Holloway, Jr., father, Albert Merritt and step father, Roscoe Grant; daughter, Tierra (Andrew, Sr.) Patterson; step children, Tiara, Thomas and Erin Holloway; grandchildren, Jaylen, Andrew, Jr., Cedric and Dedric Patterson, Jalliyah, Jamiyah and Antaria Holloway, Thomas Lake, Jr. and Antonio Begley; sisters, Helena Merritt and Teshya Black; aunts, Marjorie Shivers, Minister Brenda Merritt, Mildred York, Penny Norman, Maxaline Hunt, and Rosetta Dismukes; uncles, Robert Dunn, Charles and Leon Merritt, and Johnny Shelton, Jr.; cousins, Reverend David Shivers, Jacqueline (Deandra) Furline, and Reverend Evelyn (Reverend Donald) Means; devoted childhood friend, Jeri Ogelsby; devoted friends, Charles (Shauna) Darby, Carolyn Patterson, Brian and Coretta Young; sponsor, Geraldine Planter; father in law, Thomas Holloway, Sr.; brothers in law, step father in law, Charles (Barbara) Owens, Sr., James (Theta)Holloway, Charles (Tracey) Owens, Jr.; sisters in law, Sheila, Sylvia, and Kim Holloway, Loretta and Tandra (Paul) Jeter; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other loves ones, Merritt, Dunn, York, Avant, Grant ,Owens, Holloway families and the Jackson Street Missionary Baptist Church family.
