Departed this life Friday October 13, 2017. Dorothy was born in Nashville TN, to Ida Mae and John Baber.
Dorothy was united in holy matrimony in 1962. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, shopping and traveling.
Dorothy is a member of Cleveland Street Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board under the leadership of Pastor Donald Snead. She is a former member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents Ida Mae and John Baber; daughter, Emma (Ronny) Jemison; siblings, Ruby Mitchell, Russell and Johnnie Mae Baber.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband L.V. Trammell; daughter, Patricia (Wayne) Hale; Sons, David ( Marissa) Trammell and Bobby (Rita) Trammell; grandchildren, Charon (Victor) Wilson, Manolito Jemison, Consuela (Kevin) Olden, Mon-Kisha and Ka-Rhonda Porter, Markell Taylor, Bo-Shanna, De-Shonna, Bobby, La’Shonna, and Ja- Derrick McGuire, Tremaine and LaQuinta Stem; sixteen great grandchildren; eight great -great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
