James Ronald (Tiny) Beasley

March 12, 1964 — February 18, 2017

James Ronald Beasley affectionately known as (Tiny) age 52 was born March 12, 1964 in Nashville, Tennessee and made his transition Saturday, February 18, 2017.

James attended Nashville Metropolitan public schools. He received his GED and was proud of that accomplishment.

James had affectionate names for his family members: Big Sis, Lil Sis, Niecy, Lil Niecy was names he commonly used.

James loved Carolyn Lewis and her family, he always referred to them as his family. He was happy to be united with his grandsons.

James  united with Second Missionary Baptist Church in 2014. He was very lovingly received by the congregation. The church family always had his best interest in mind and heart. James was always willing to help anyone. He always enjoyed and participated in the annual church camping trip and the Men Ministry.

James was preceded in death by his devoted father and mother, Charles and Roberta Beasley; son, James Kelly; sister, Dorothy Huff; brother, George Baker; uncle, Buck Shelton; and sister-in-law, Birdie Edwards.

James leaves to cherish his memory, the Love of his life, Carolyn Lewis; son, Adrian Lewis; grandsons, Devontae Claybrooks, Ricky Malone, and Acarri Lewis;  seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Edwards and Charles Baker; sisters, Joyce Nelson, Gloria Linder, Lillian (Steve) Wright, Evelyn Baker, and Theresa Beasley; nephews, Carl Baker, Kenneth Baker, Princeton Baker, Darrel Mayes, Cory Sales, Charles Stafford, James Love, Anthony Love, Timothy Beasley, Lorenzo Beasley, and Terrence (Victoria) Beasley; nieces, Yvette (John) Cater, Yolanda Love, Dorothy (Sonny) Prather, Chonta (Thurman) Hawkins, Chereka (Diego) Martin, Tammi Nelson, Connie Nelson, Catrice Baker, Cheri Baker, Tracy Beard, Angie Baker, Natasha Baker, Na`Kesha Vaughn, Chasity Wilson, Nicky Wilson, Arlien Beasley, Laquita Mickens,and Kathy Bester; a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, great great nieces, great great nephews; devoted nephew, great nephew, and nieces, Carl Baker, David Starnes Jr., Angie Baker, Cheri Baker, and Chonta Hawkins; a very very devoted friend/brother, Baby Gene.
