Keesha Louise Kinnard

Keesha Louise Kinnard transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 28, 2016.

Keesha Louise Kinnard was born July 27, 1978 in Nashville, TN to Michael E. Kinnard Sr. and Deborah Wilson Slaughter Kinnard.

Keesha accepted Christ at an early age and fellowshipped with Mt. Ararat Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend James E. Henry.

Keesha received her education in the Nashville Davidson County, Metro Public School where she graduated from Cohn Adult School. She also went to Tennessee Technology School where she received her cosmetology license and later graduated from Nashville State with under graduate degree and her masters from TSU.

She loved doing hair, dancing, always had a big smile, she loved planning weddings and parties. She was a music promoter; interior decorator, and fashion designer.

She was employed at SunTrust Bank, where she started as a teller and moved up to management before her health failed.

Keesha never met a stranger and was known and loved by many people. She most of all dedicated her life to her children and her granddaughter all of which she spoiled in her own special way. She was a member of The Lady Ballaz Club.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Slaugher Wilson; grandmothers, Elnora Slander and Thelma Williams; grandfather, William Slaughter and T. Howard Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, LaKeesha Kinnard and LaTesha Kinnard; son, Vernon Kinnard; granddaughter, Ma`Kaiah Kinnard (Tudda); father, Michael E. Kinnard, Sr.; siblings, Deloris (Darick) Slaughter-Hardin, Tameka Slaughter, Michael Jr. (Tiffany) Kinnard, Myron (Eboney) Kinnard, Antonio French, Demetrice French, Alicia French and Harold Osborne; aunts, Deloris Allen, Margaret (Larry) Lamberson, Carolyn (Charles) Thomas Williams and Valerie William; uncles, William Slaughter Jr., Chris Slaughter, Charles Kinnard and Stanley Kinnard; nephews/brothers, Timothy Slaughter, Darick Slaughter, Roger Slaughter, Desilas Slaughter, step-father, Alvin D. Wilson; devoted friends, Vernon Smith and Sherica Pittman; and other numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
