Louis Edward Corbitt

Louis Edward Corbitt was born March 25, 1958 in Lou Ray, Tennessee (Henderson County) to the late Lance & Mae Sue Corbitt. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life March 14, 2016.
Louis professed Christ at an early age. He became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in 2009. Where he served as a Deacon & Men’s Choir member. He loved the Lord and sharing the Gospel.

Louis received his education in Davidson County public Metro Schools where he played basketball and football. He also loved to play chess, lifting weights and being around people.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Sue; father, Lance Corbitt; three brothers, Dennis, Don, and John Corbitt.

Louis is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 22 years, Laura Corbitt; seven sisters, Janice Beal, Mary Carver of Lexington, TN., Barbara (Les) McClure of Paducah, KY., Norma Reed, Ella Buttler, Shelia (Eric) Buford and Carolyn Porter all of Nashville, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, devoted friends, Carl Jordan, Preston Carney, Claude Copeland, and Marcia Hendon; other relatives and friends.

Public viewing Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Highland Hills Chapel, 2422 Brick Church Pike.

Visitation Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 6-7pm with funeral to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ, 3634 Clarksville Pike.

Interment, Monday March 21, 2016 at 11am in Greenwood West Cemetery.
