Wilmore Lee Mason, Jr. was born on November 13, 1958 to Wilmore Lee Mason, Sr. and Mary Mason at Meharry Hubbard Hospital in Nashville, TN. He departed this life peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
He attended and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
He was educated in the Nashville Public School System.
He was united in holy matrimony to Diana Moore in November of 1985.
Wilmore was employed with Metro Housing Authority. In his spare-time he enjoyed football and was a die hard fan of the Tennessee Titans. He also loved gardening and cooking.
He is preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Willie Belle Greer; uncles, Walter Mason and Jerry Mason.
He leaves to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Diana Mason; daughters, Nicole (Brian) Williams, Renita Sandifer, Samika (Nathan) Darnell, Tameka Hyde; son, Eugene (Sylvia) Moore; sisters, Pauline Cooksey, Alice Branham, Dolly (Dennis) Wilburg; sisters-in-law, Rita More, Deborah (James) Bowen, Glenness Banks, Clarissa Moore; brothers-in-law, James, Ronald and Rapheal Moore; 21 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Devoted friends, Gary Yarbrough, Fredrick Fischer, Raymond Caruthers, Mary Thomas and Alfonzo Moppin
