Angela Alethea Woods

Ms. Angela Althea Johnson Woods departed this life on January 5, 2019, peaceful at Alive Hospice. She was born on July 5, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Angela is preceded in death by her mother Mary Elma Taylor and brothers, John Johnson Jr. and Joseph Greer.

Angela was a native of Nashville Tennessee where she attended public schools.
In 1975 Angela married Raymond Woods Sr. from this union Angela and Raymond Sr. had three sons Reginald, Brandon and Raymond, Jr.

Angela worked for Monique's Restaurant for 6 years. She was devoted to being a loving mother and grandmother, was affectingly known "Big Angie. She was baptized early in life and was an active member at Babb Memorial Baptist Church.

Angela was a people person who enjoyed playing cards, cooking and going to casino and entertaining people. Angela loved her family and adored her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, they were her world.

Angela leaves to cherish her memories to her children Reginald (Tracey) Woods, Brandon (Zoey) Woods, Raymond ( Brandy) Woods; Siblings: Mary Frances Garner, William Thomas Johnson, and Louis (Jane) Johnson all of Nashville, Tennessee, Aunt: Annie Ruth Hobert of Louisville, Ky. Grandchildren Ayanna (Dominic) Pratt, Nathaniel Woods, Harmoni Woods, Kristopher Woods and Angela Sierra Woods. Nieces and Nephews: Shelia Garner, Earl (Vita) Garner, Sonia (Milton) Williams, Ronald Edmondson, Kimberly Garner, Kristy Johnson, Megan Garner, Kristopher (Arianna) Gardner, Leslie Greer, Toyeisha Bell Greer; devoted cousins, Pearl Buggs and Terresa F. Brown; A special devoted friend, Roosevelt Sanders; devoted friends, Rhonda ( Yvonne) Owens, Teresa Benford, Delouis Gilmore, Neat Phillips, Doris Ann Chatman, Rev. Claudia Wright, Shelia Royster; a host of other relatives and friends.
