He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ruth Green, father William Austin, aunt Mildred Reid, and brother Charles Frost.
Arric is survived by his mother, Billie Jean Austin; four children, Dominique Whitaker, William Zaiveus Austin, Arric Austin Jr., and goddaughter Charria; brothers, Keith Austin (Veronica Austin) and Kenny Austin; three sisters, Rebecca Ann Blockett (Lester Tee Blockett), Josephine Wilson, and Phyllis Frost; aunt Sallie Mae Cunningham; uncle Jimmy Campbell of Texas; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; a devoted friend Clarence Mayes (Black); and a devoted cousin Rickey Harden.
