Arthur Jordan passed away on March 31, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on October 4, 1931 to Arthur Jordan Sr. and Maggie Osborne Jordan.
Arthur attended and graduated from Pearl High School in 1950.
Arthur was drafted into the Navy 03/03/1952 - 03/01/1956. After his discharge he came home and married the love of his life, Mable Batey Jordan on August 31, 1957.
He was very active with Hands of Hope Ministry at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Sr., Maggie Jordan and sister Deloris Johnson.
Arthur leaves to cherish his memories wife, Mable P. Jordan; children, Vincent (Teresa) Jordan, Veneda Jordan, Vernon Jordan, Keith Jordan, and Kevin (Altie) Jordan; grandchildren, Gloria Jordan, Mariah Jordan, Anyeiah Jordan, Carmon Jordan, Vernon Jordan II, Kennedy Jordan, and Ariann Jordan; great grandchild, Jordyn Miller; brother, Melvin Jordan; sister-in-law, Jean Crismon, Iris (James) Teats, Sherrial Yarbrough, and Anedrea Newman; lifelong friend, Walter Pope; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
