Avonett Michelle Graves-Shelton

On May 25, 2022, she departed this life, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Shelton, her father, Roland M. Spencer Sr., grandparents, Alfred Sr. and Gloria Graves, Thomas Jr. and Frances Bagley Spencer.


Michelle leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted daughter, Ariel Shelton, her mother, Vickie Graves, 12 siblings, Laura “Lump” Jude, Elaine (Ralph) Clayton, Edward “Genie” Swafford, Teresa “T-Baby” Martin, Ernestine, Dianne, Larry and Alethea Swafford; Roland Jr. (Rose) Spencer, Gloria (Jason Sr.) Tate, Wendell (Beverly) Graves, Timothy (Lenora) Graves; one uncle, Alfred (JoAnn) Graves, Jr. and five aunts, Darlene Henderson, Sheila (James) Graves, Trudy Graves, Karen (Joe) Jordan, and Kimberly Graves; devoted great uncle and aunts Pastor Michael (Ann Marie) Graves and Evelyn “Lil L” Harding; devoted aunt, Trudy Graves; devoted cousins James Reynolds, Marcie Clayton, and Leon Wilson and a host of great uncles, great aunts, cousins and friends.
