Benjamin Edward Malone

Benjamin Edward Malone was born to the union of Benjamin Edward Malone, Sr and Amanda Ethel Thompson on October 26, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee. He departed this life on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at St. Thomas Mid-Town Hospital. Benjamin confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Spruce Street Baptist Church. He later joined Belle Meade United Primitive Baptist Church. Benjamin graduated from Pearl High School in 1977, after graduating he then joined the United States Army in which he served for several years. He worked for over 30 years as a cook at Hooters Restaurant. Benjamin was a loving person and was loved for his hot water cornbread, as well as his since of humor, jokes and storytelling. Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother, Amanda E. Thompson; father, Benjamin E. Malone, Sr; brother, Calvin Malone; and sister, Rachel Malone. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Deborah A. Howse-Malone; sons, Benjamin Malone III, Dareginald McClain Sr and Cedric Peacock; daughters, Shareka (Robert) Knight, Shameka Malone, Shonda Howse (Jeremiah) Smelley, Ericka Howse (Johnathan) Hathaway and Shaquina Howse (Brandon) Young; brothers, Charles Malone, Leroy Malone, Douglas Malone, Johnny Thompson, Antione (Candice) Howse, Ronald Howse and Howard Griffin; sisters, Dorothy Jean McGlothlia, Rosa Thompson, Ida Thompson, Mary Frances Malone, Delamae Malone, Barbara Malone, Brenda (Samuel) Moore, Nancy Robertson, Pamela (Gene) Cartwright, Sharon (Peter) Marshall, Maggie (Phillip) Gaines, Clarissa Stevenson, Evelyn Griffin, Dothea Griffin, Leslie (Leon) Gardner, Sharonda Howse and Chasity Howse; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; devoted aunt, Dorothy Waddy; devoted friends, Bobby Holland, Gene Cartwright, Anthony McQuiddy, the Howse family, the Rotrers family, the JO Johnston and West Nashville family
