Bernard Ralston Lewis

Bernard Ralston Lewis was born April 11, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to the parents of Bernard Ralston Lewis, Sr., and Lou Ella Marlin Lewis. His parents and son Sedrick Maurice Holmes-Lewis and brother, Anthony Lewis preceded him in death. On April 5, 2021 Bernard died peacefully, in his home, surrounded by family.



Bernard leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Gracie Marie Lewis; daughter Ambere Lewis; sons Justin (April) Lewis and Joshua Lewis; grandchildren Dartanius “DJ” Lewis, Jalen Lewis, Jaela Lewis, Lauren Lewis, and Orion Lewis; sisters, Ramona Coger, Adrienne Lewis, and Alfreda(Clarence) Powell; devoted mother-in-law, Elnora Yarbrough; sister-in-laws Sandra Kay (Rodney) Gray, Linda (Alvino) Douglass, and Terri Perkins Lewis; longtime friend Harold “Smitty’ Smith; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.



Memorial Service, Saturday, April 17, 2021 visitation at 3:30 p.m. and service at 4:30 p.m. Schrader Lane Church of Christ, West Auditorium 1234 Schrader Ln, Nashville, TN 37208.
