Carolyn A. Sparks

Carolyn Sparks was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on May 18,1946 to the late Willa J. Sparks. Carolyn entered into eternal rest on November 19,2019. She was educated in Wayne County and Hardin County school system. She graduated from Dunbar High School in Savannah, Tennessee and was known to be Miss Dunbar High. She was a LPN and served in the medical profession for over 40 plus years working for Meharry Medical Hospital for various doctors and the state of Tennessee. She loved cooking for both family and friends, gardening, and shopping.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother Willa Sparks and her brother Thomas Sparks.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted daughter Tracy Ward. A devoted Aunt Laura Mae Craig. Loving devoted sisters, Delores Oglesby, and Gwen Edmonson; Grandson, Jarren Glenn and Granddaughter Marchelle (Isaiah Grigsby) Ward. Three Great Grandchildren; Jordan Glenn, Lauryn Glenn, and Madison Maree’ Grigsby. A host of Nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cousins and friends. Devoted friends Anita Frazier- Coleman, Linda Cunningham and Gregory Leonard.
