Charles Edward Floyd

Charles Edward Floyd was born February 6, 1939 to Authur and Ethel Floyd. He departed this life on May 9, 2018 at his residence.

Charles was educated in the Williamson County School System. He was employed employed with McKissack Bridge Company, until his retirement.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Authur & Ethel Floyd; five sisters, two brothers, two sons and two daughters.

He leaves to cherish his memories a very devoted ex-wife, Francie R. Carter of Ardmore, TN; daughters, Ruby Mayes of Murfreesboro, TN., Carolyn Gray of Antioch, TN., Rhonda Floyd of Nashville, TN., and Serena Floyd of Cartersville, GA; sons, Anthony and Clinton Floyd of Murfreesboro, TN., Charles Oglesby of Nashville, TN., Charles (Shirley) Covington of College Grove, TN., John Floyd of Memphis, TN., and Clarence Floyd of Cartersville, GA; seven step children, Dortha, Jeniffer, Tina Fred, Terry, Mario Dickerson of Antioch, TN and Genne Dickerson of Ardmore, TN; brothers, Thomas and James Floyd of Nashville, TN; daughter-in-law, Lucille Southall; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
