Constance Jean Taylor

May 1, 2019 — May 1, 2019

Constance Jean’s spirit was officially recognized as having been departed from her precious body on Monday, April 29, 2019 and her body was delivered to the loving arms of her father, Steven Moroni Taylor and mother, Chrysten Noel Scillion on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Quietly, without an audible sound, our precious Constance Jean Taylor came into this world; just as quietly, in the arms of angels, her spirit returned home to her Heavenly Parents. Knowing of our sorrow, she tenderly and mercifully gifted us her beautiful, physical body. As we held and caressed every inch of her soft skin, she left an unforgettable message in our hearts; a message that she desired to share with each of you, our family and friends. Though her presence upon this earth was confined to the blessed womb of her gentle mother, she assured us that her incredible and beautiful life had meaning for she had faithfully and valiantly fulfilled her purpose in 9 wonderful and joyful months. She reminded us that we are all eternal beings and that no matter how long or short our lives, we touch and move people. Named for both of her valiant and faithful maternal and paternal grandmothers, she instantly became a welcomed part of our immediate and extended family. She did not disappoint. She left within us a peace that only comes from God. Being with her was one of the most beautiful experiences we could have ever encountered. While holding our precious baby, we truly felt touched by heaven. Every part of her body was so beautifully and carefully designed by a loving Heavenly Father. As we bury our precious one, we are left with empty hands but with hopeful hearts. We can more clearly understand how difficult it must have been for Heavenly Father to watch the crucifixion and death of His only begotten Son. Through Constance’s birth we can identify with His heartfelt pain. As we hope to see Constance once again, we can also understand Heavenly Father’s hope that comes from knowing that the Atonement of Christ was for the good of mankind. Our Constance’s life deserves honor and celebration for its unique creation and purpose. Her life is a spiritual act of a loving Father. Our baby doll’s short life and death was not an accident. The family prayed for her safe delivery and looked forward to welcoming her to this life. When the ultrasound confirmed that she had died, we felt a loss and deep hurt. But that thought was replaced by an understanding that she has fulfilled her purpose and calling with a pure and innocent heart. We look forward to seeing her again and celebrating once more at Jesus’s feet. As we share and celebrate Constance’s life, healing will come to our hearts. We surely have been highly favored of the Lord for the blessings that have come to us through our beautiful baby.
