David Watkins

On Saturday, April 06, 2019, David Watkins, passed away at the age of 62 years old. A native of Nashville, David graduated from Maplewood High School and started his working career. He eventually retired from Bridgestone/Firestone after 30 years of employment. He enjoyed watching sports, playing video games and listening to music - all with the volume turned up. During a game he would yell one of his patented phrases: "Unbelievable!" or "C'Mon!" He was a devoted Cincinnati Bengals fan and a closet Titans fan who joined the local commentator in shouting "Touchdown Titans" whenever the home team scored. He is survived b his wife, Sandra, his children, Kristy (Roland), David and Derrick and by his brother, Raymond (Marilyn), Zona (sister-in-law) and his nieces, nephews and two grandchildren (Jordan, Jonathan). David was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Hattie, and his brother, James.
