Deloris O. Hendricks

September 29, 1942 — February 8, 2020

Ms. Deloris O. Hendricks passed away peacefully
on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
She was born September 29, 1942 to the late Pairas and Joy Rhodes Olds, of
Pulaski, Tennessee. She was one of four siblings, including her late sister,
Mildred Olds.
At an early age, Deloris professed a hope in Christ and united with Beulah
Baptist Church. She graduated from Bridgeforth High School in Pulaski, TN. In
1965, Deloris moved to Nashville, TN, and attended Tennessee State
University. She was employed by the Tennessee Housing Development
Agency. Her dedication as a Senior Loan Technician was displayed in her thirty
plus years of service.
Her love for family and friends made her a joy to be around. Deloris showed it
through her love for cooking and her amazing smile. She enjoyed reading,
planting, and collecting cow figurines as hobbies.
Deloris, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, is
survived by her children, daughter, Marchia Rene Hendricks, Nashville,
Tennessee, and son, Randy Lamar (Stephanie) Hendricks, Nashville,
Tennessee; brothers, Eli (Earnestine) and William (Trina) Olds, both of Nashville,
Tennessee.
She also leaves behind her four grandsons, T’Wan (Cheyenne), Clarksville,
Tennessee; Mychal Terrell(Teeglenn) Hendricks, Sr., Randy Hendricks II (Terri), and
Terrence Deshaun Cantrell, all of Nashville, Tennessee; granddaughters,
Aeryk (Mark) White and Staci Hunt; and eighteen great grandchildren; nieces,
Constance (Ronald) Smith, Shalon (Terrance) Hannah, Chattanooga,
Tennessee; TeSondra Williams and Terika Olds; nephews, Jamal and Josiah
Olds, Nashville, Tennessee; devoted friend, Lena Prince; and host of relatives
and friends.
Her loving memory lives in our hearts eternally and she will be missed beyond
measure.
