She was preceded in death by sisters, Johnnie Rean Merritt, Bobbie Ann Golder, Maggie Lena McGlother and brother, Charles Johnson McGlother. Effie leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, a devoted and loving family: son, Donald Patrick McGlother; daughter, Amy Michele Wheeler (Christopher); granddaughter, Devecia Nichelle McGlother; grandson, William Patrick McGlother; sisters, Ora Lee Robertson and Elizabeth Thompson and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
