Eva Leoma Brown Southall

October 24, 1920 — July 13, 2021

Eva Leoma Virginia Brown Huddleston Beard Southall, was born October 24, 1920 to the late Virgil Huddleston and Eula Blakemore in Norene, Tennessee. She departed this life on July 13, 2021 surrounded by loving family.


Eva was educated in the Wilson County School System.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Fred Southall. She worked many years doing domestic work.


Eva accepted Christ at a young age. Throughout her life was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Jones Tabernacle, and a member of St Paul Church Primitive Baptist Church for over 35 years, where she loved her Pastor.
Eva was preceded by death by husband Fred Southall; son Robert Huddleston; daughters, Fannie Beard, Alice Boyce; grandson James Ray Huddleston; granddaughter Rosie Huddleston; great grandson TiJaundre Garrett; and devoted niece Hilda Chumney.


She leaves to cherish her memories devoted daughter, Callie Sweeney; devoted granddaughter, Cynthia Beard, Keith and Kevin Sweeney, Erica, Antonio, Marcus, Boyce, William, Lil Robert, Ann, Mattie, Ruby, Bea, Brenda, Lil Mary; 44 great grandchildren, and 43 great great grandchildren.
