Mrs. Evelyn Clendenning Adkins Age 89 of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, January 5, 2015.
Evelyn Clendenning Adkins was born on November 12, 1925 to the late James and Ruby Clendenning, of Nashville, TN. She was educated in Nashville Public Schools. Evelyn moved to California in the early 1970's and resided there until her move back to Nashville. She worked at Belmont University for over 20 years upon her return.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold & James Clendenning (Nashville, TN).
She leaves to mourn her passing sisters, Ann Dunn and Betty Sue Preston; a host of nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
