Flora Alma Love

Flora Alma Love entered into her eternal rest on March 25, 2019 after a brief illness.

Flora Alma Love one of two children born to Anderson C. Rucks and step - mother Mary Elizabeth Rucks on March 06, 1931. She was educated in the public schools system of Nashville and attended Meigs Elementary School and Pearl High School.

Flora Alma Love accepted Jesus Christ as her loving Savior at an early age at Braden United Methodist Church.

Flora Alma Love worked at the Tri - Delta Sorority House at Vanderbilt University and retired after serving over twenty years of employment. After her retirement, cooking was her passion along with baby sitting for her grand children and great grand children. In her home laughter and love was always spread throughout. Flora was always a caring and giving lady, with a big heart filled with compassion and love.

Flora Alma Love was preceded in death by her father Anderson C. Rucks, step - mother Mary Elizabeth Rucks; daughter Dorothy Lorraine Steele, twin sister Faiola A. Sadler; step sister Joyce Foley; grandson Jakwan Green and a nephew Edward Sadler.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Gwendolyn Love; a son Darrell Lee Love,devoted granddaughters, Yvonne Love, Michelle Love, grandson; Toleo East, great grand children Remicia Brown, Brittney Anthony, Monterrio Love, great grandchildren Jakwan green Jr, Tonisha East, Toliah Malone, great - great grandchildren, Mi’Coria
Anthony, and Braden Love. devoted nephew Wayne (Linda) Sadler. Step sister Renee (Warner) Jenkins, step brother, Anderson C. Rucks Jr., special relatives and friends Tonika East, Thomas Brown, Carolyn Lavender.
