Herman Heyward was born July 7, 1932, in Beaufort, South Carolina. He went home to be the Lord May 23, 2015.
Herman accepted Christ at an early age. He walked in great faith with the Lord. Herman was a devoted and loving father and husband.
He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, Aletha Heyward; father, Henry Singleton; daughters, Marie Heyward, and Stephanie Heyward; stepson, Ricky Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lenora Heyward; sons, Danny Heward and Rhandie Heyward; daughters, Fredia Heyward and Carnell Hughes; grandchildren, Travis Heyward, Danny Heyward Jr., Katrice (Delvin) Donaldson, Keisha (Ronnie) Ford, Chanell Hughes, Michael D. Hughes, and Maycio Heyward; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
