Jessica Dawn Lyons

Mrs. Jessica Dawn Lyons, age 39 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, February 20, 2021.


"Her smile is gone for a while;
Her hand we can not touch,
Thank God for precious memories
Of one we love so much,
It breaks our hearts to lose her;
but she did not go home alone,
For part of us went with her,
The Day God called her home."


Mrs. Jessica Dawn Lyons was the second child born to Debra and James Jackson. She was born November 28, 1981 in Georgia and departed this life on February 20, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Tn. She married Mr. Darrell Lyons on March 14, 2012 in Nashville, TN. Jessica became a truck driver in 2010 and was able to travel the country visiting some National Parks, fishing, golfing and seeing the sights with her husband.


At an early age Jessica professed a love for Christ (currently a member of Foster Chapel MBC), and received her education in the Georgia public school system. She was the truest of animal lovers. Barrel racing as a teen on her horse named Red, and later raising a host of animals (Chickens, goats, etc). Especially loving and caring for her five dogs (Adikus, Scout, Calpernia, Boscoe and Eleanor). She was happiest caring for her animals.


Jessica was kind, giving, and a joy to be around. To truly know her was to love her, and she will be missed by all.


She leaves to cherish her memory, James and Debra Jackson; parents, Chad Jackson; brother, Mr. Darrell Lyons, husband; Bryant Wallace; son, McKayla Wallace; daughter, Savannah Wallace; daughter, Jeremiah Lyons, stepson; Kenya Lyons, stepdaughter; Kayla Lyons; stepdaughter. Grandchildren; Xavier Lyons and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.


DUE TO COVID-19, A FACE MASK IS REQUIRED, UPON ENTRY OF THE FUNERAL HOME, TEMPERATURES WILL BE CHECKED AND PLEASE KEEP SOCIAL DISTANCE IN MIND AT ALL TIMES.
