Jorron Nathan Pendleton

Jorron Nathan Pendleton was born on October 28, 1990 at 7:48 PM in Nashville, Tennessee to Joe and Sharon Pendleton. God, in His infinite wisdom, opened the gates of heaven and sent His angels to carry Jorron home on Friday, August 30, 2019.


Jorron attended Westwood Baptist Church, where he accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. During his teen years, he worshipped at Word of Faith Baptist Church where he was part of the mimes team. As a young adult he joined his parents at Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Jorron graduated from East Literature Magnet High School class of 2009. While at east Lit, he dabbled in several sports including wrestling, track and football. After high school, he matriculated to Austin Peay State University majoring in Chemistry and History. He was a man of many talents as evidenced by his varied employment history. He served as a chef, a security and correctional officer. His most recent employment was with U.S. Corrections as an extradition officer.

Jorron received great joy from volunteering at Tennessee Camp for Diabetic Children. He volunteered his services for over 10 years. He enjoyed sharing his love of swimming as their Aquatics Director with the children every summer. Jorron was also an avid reader and a movie buff.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mose Harris, Grady Pendleton, Jr, Jewel Whiting; uncle Kalvin Pendleton. Jorron leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories: his parents, Joe & Sharon Pendleton; brother, Jeremy Pendleton; God-sent sister, Regine (Jean Stevens) Lescouflair; maternal grandmother, Rena Harris; paternal grandmother, Charles Etta Pendleton; uncles, Leonard Pendleton, Kevin Pendleton, Kevin (Adrienne) Harris, Keith (Mel) Harris, Stephaan Harris; aunts, Carol Harris, Alicia (Robert) Boyd, Shelley (Gary) Hamilton, Cheryl Pendleton; best friend Bryonna Davison; and a host of cousins and other relatives. Godparents Walter and Renita Smart. God daughters Sara Moore, Brittany Smart and Megan Smart.

The family of Jorron Nathan Pendleton asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in his name.
