Kathlean Scott Hamer

Kathy, who loved to be called "Momma" by her children, departed her loving family on October 2, 2020.

Kathy was born in Nashville, TN on April 1, 1955 to James and Katie Foster.

Kathy professed a hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of St. Teresa Holiness Science Church where she served as an usher for many years.

Kathy loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a loving, giving person and unforgettable friend.

Kathy transitioned at the age of 65. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Jewel Lee Hamer; four precious children, Twanda M. (Aaron) Hamlett, Alton P. Jackson III "Juice" (Wendy), Corey D. (LaToya) Jackson and LaTaysuire N. Davis; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothea L. Foster, Eliza Benford; a host of nieces, nephews and a very devoted Godmother, Gloria Bell.
