Deacon Laveil V. Seay was born February 26, 1960 to the late James E. Seay Sr. and Lillie O. Williams-Seay. He was educated in Nashville Public Schools, Soon after he joined the army, served 4 years, until an auto accident left him unable to serve, he left with an honorable discharge, worked for the State of Tennessee at TDOT for 8 years, he was a firm believer in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. James Evans, later in life he joined McNairy Hill U.P. Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Cassaway, His proudest accomplishment was becoming Deacon Seay, he was so happy and loved his pastor and church family, and the hymns, he was a faithful member until his untimely departure, that’s the day he received his wings.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted Fiance Jewel Pullens, Siblings Rev. Janet Seay Stanley, Children George (Diane) Pullens Sr, Grand-children Iesha and George Pullens Jr, In-Laws Theresa Brown, Deborah (Bretlon) Langster, Latonya Perkins, James (Valerie) Perkins, Gerry Perkins Followed by a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nephews, Great Nieces, Cousins and Friends. Devoted Friends James Bradley, Pam Mosley, Clarissa (Punkin) Stevenson, Robert Johnson, Pastor Grimes, John Beard, Ann Beard, and Ruby Gilchrist.
He is proceeded in death by Brothers; Rev. James E. Seay, Clifford Allen Seay, Raymond Lee Seay, Nephew Toney Pillow, Niece Tonya Seay, Mary E Perkins.
