Furthermore, Lori continued her education at Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia, where she received the Master of Business Administration Degree in 1985. Lori’s academic pursuit culminated at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she completed all academic requirements except for the dissertation for a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership.

On September 19, 1987, Lori united in holy matrimony with Quenton I. White. From this union, two children were born – Daniel Quenton and Maya Arnae.

Lori had an ambitious professional career that spanned multiple industries, including serving as an Assistant Marketing Manager at the Sara Lee Corporation in Winston Salem, North Carolina and an Instructor of Marketing and Management at the Jennings A.
