Mandrell Newsom

Mandrell Newsome was born August 30, 1980 to Helen Terrell and Sylvester Kelly of on Nashville, TN. He departed this earthly life to live with his heavenly father Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Mandrell received most of his education in the Metropolitan Public Schools, but obtained his High School Diploma at Peabody High School, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mandrell accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He was a peoples person and never met a stranger. Mandrell was a devoted husband, father, loving son, and a cool brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Mandrell hobbies were traveling with his family, eating, spending time with his kids, going to the casino with his wife, listening to music, and singing o key.

Mandrell was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Terrell; grandmother, Virginia Elliott (Ma Putt); great grandfather, Kenneth Woods (Chico); nephew, Xavier Cox; and uncle, Carlos Kelley.

Mandrell leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Sharon Newsome; children, Manishe, Mandrell, Mondrell, Shaundrell, LaVell, Sandrell and Darrell New- some all of Nashville, TN., and Elise Nicole Bell of Knoxville, TN; mother, Helen Terrell; father, Sylvester Kelly; grandmother, Juanita Newsome; God son, Darius Howse; mother-in-law, Sherl Cox (Bobby); father-in-law, Rossie Ellison; devot- ed brothers and sisters, Shetika Newsome, Latora Terrell, Quanisha Fergurson (Boss), Michael and Demarcus Terrell; uncles, James, Frank, Robert, Charles Kelley, Tommy Terrell and Ron D.
