Mrs. Mary Thacker

Mrs. Mary L. Thacker, age 74, of Nashville, March 10, 1939 - July 6, 2013. Preceded in death by son, Troy Thacker. Survived by Husband of 51 years, Reverend Murray Thacker; loving children, Traci (Chris) Bond, Christal Stephens and Rhonda Walker; grandchildren, Jakiya, Christian, Chris, Carmen, Melvina, Marlon; three great grandchildren; devoted niece and nephew Christy and Terrance; sisters, Otha Dean (Charles) Woods; Pauline (Richard) Holland; many other family members and friends. Mrs. Thacker will lie in state Friday, July 12, 2013, from 1pm to 8pm, with family present from 6pm to 8pm at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike. Saturday morning she will be conveyed to Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 2021 Herman Street, where the family will receive friends from 11am to 12 noon, with services commencing at 12 noon. Pastor William R. Harris, Euglogist. Pastor Ray Lee Jackson, Officiant. Internment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery West.
