Michael Leroy Campbell

October 8, 1954 — February 3, 2017

Michael Leroy Campbell, October 8, 1954 - February 3, 2017. Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. One of twelve children, Michael attended Nashville Metropolitan Public Schools.

At an early age, Michael accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He rededicated his life to Christ and became a member of Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church.

Listening to gospel music is where Michael discovered his voice and love for music. He would go on to use his God given vocal talent to sing whenever and where ever he could. He was also a good building contractor, which he learned at an early age working alongside his grandfather, Luchion. Michael performed construction work all around the city of Nashville.
