Natasha Nakia Crook

October 14, 1981 — January 4, 2020

Natasha Nakia Crook was born October 14, 1981, to Wanda
Faye Moore and Howard Williams. She departed this earthly life
on January 4, 2020. She is preceded in death by her father,
Howard Williams. Natasha gave her life to Christ at a young age
under the Rev. J. H. Johnson, of Cowan Street Missionary
Baptist Church, and later united with Glenn Tabernacle and
Grace United Missionary Baptist Church where Kerry James
served as Pastor. She remained a faithful member until her
death. She served as youth advisor over various ministries within
the church.
She was a very vibrant and lovely young lady. “Tasha” was loved
by all who met her. She was always smiling, and her smile lit up
the room. Tasha was one in a million and there will never be
another Tasha. Tasha was the life the party and she believed
that all people should live their best life.
Tasha graduated from Stratford High School, Class of 2000.
Tasha was employed by Acceptance Insurance Company for 13
years.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her devoted mother,
Wanda Faye Moore; children, Chaunece Reed and Terrion
Daniels; stepfather, Anthony Moor; devoted grandparents,
Helen and Joseph Lauriston; devoted sisters, Maya (James)
Crawford and Toni Moore; devoted aunts, Sherron (Charles)
Branch and Gail Brown; uncle, Darryl Crook; “play” aunt, Sherry
Evans; devoted cousins, Jaivonna (Artis) Hicks, Shay Scott,
LaKeisha (Tim) Brooks, Dennis (Alisa) Jones, Darryl Cane,
Stephanie White, Toya Kenner, Martillis Branch, and Jadarian
Branch; nieces, Kennedy Smith, Journey Williams, Mason and
Antonio Crawford; extended family, the family of the Late
Howard Williams; special friends, Nichole Moore, Kenneth
Robinson, Roshounda Azubuike, Darryl Wiseman, Latricia
Johnson, Nycorya Wilson, and Shawn Jackson; and host of
relatives and friends.
