Othia Lee Bell

October 22, 1931 — April 24, 2018

Othia Lee Bell was born on October 22, 1931 to Jordan and Amanda Robinson in Uniontown, Alabama. Othia was one of thirteen children. She met and married the love of her life, Weynor in 1951 and migrated to Cleveland, Ohio. She had four children from this union, Vincent, Doris, Bruce and W. Eric.

Othia was a faithful member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess and was active in the youth ministry. She later moved her membership to New Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church of Maple Heights where she faithfully assisted in the preparation for and coordination of its baptismal services.

Othia spent many years as a homemaker before beginning a long career with University Hospital in medical records. She attended Cuyahoga Community College.

Othia loved God, loved people and loved serving. Sewing and cooking were her passions. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, her friends, and her sisters.

Othia was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Weynor Bell, her parents; Jordan and Amanda Robinson, four sisters; Margaret Robinson, Carolyn Sims, Annie Lou Robinson, Emma Robinson Davis, two brothers; Moses Robinson and Jordan Robinson

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Vincent (Maria) Bell of Cleveland, Doris (Robert) Warfield of Nashville, Bruce Bell of Cleveland and W. Eric (Megan) Bell of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Ricardo Warfield (Atlanta), Brandy Warfield (Nashville), Mario, Vincent, Aston, Erin and Angelo Bell (Cleveland); eight great grandchildren; sisters, Sadie Davis (Buffalo), Shirley Phoeson, Pearlie Barlow (Cleveland), Julia Ezzell (Buffalo), Amanda (Jerry) Stradford (Pittsburgh) Brothers, Nash Joe (Essie) Robinson, William Mack Arthur Robinson (Uniontown), devoted brother-in-law, Leonard Sims
