P.Z. Vora, M.D., 79, of Nashville, TN, passed away December 17, 2013, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Virginia after a traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Vora was born in the Gujarat State, India, and immigrated to the United States in 1968. He was on staff at Baptist and Skyline Hospitals for almost 40 years, serving as Chief of Surgery during part of his tenure at Skyline. Dr. Vora retired in 2007 and moved to northern Virginia to be closer to his grandchildren. Dr. Vora will be remembered for his sincere warmth, easy smile, and dedication to the care of his patients and those he loved.
Dr. Vora is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jay; his 2 daughters, Suzy Vora and Sangee Vora Antonishek; his son-in-law, John Antonishek; and 3 grandchildren who idolized him, Abigail, Zoe, and Zachary Antonishek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jain Center, 8072 Commonwealth Ave., Buena Park, CA 90621-2520.
