Robert Trevino "Big Bobby" Green

June 9, 1977 — June 3, 2022

Robert “Big Bobby” Trevino Green was born to Marilyn Lawrence on June 9, 1977 and departed this life on June 3,
2022. He is preceded in death by Grandparents Early McGowan Jr & Catherine Green McGowan, Uncle, Henry
Green, & Aunt Stephanie Green
Robert grew up in Nashville, TN and was a graduate of McGavock High School class of 1996 where he was
affectionately known as “The Gentle Giant.” There Robert excelled at academics and looked forward to making his
family proud as he received his diploma from the school. There was never a problem Robert could not solve, but in
our family, he was a tech guru and Mr. Fix It, whom we all called whenever we had technical issues in which he
was always happy to help. Robert used his love and knowledge of tech and had a career with Sprint, Comcast, and
Asurion, just to name a few. Robert enjoyed life, family, friends, watching movies, and sports. Whether it be family
rivalry regarding Sarah’s love of the Tennessee Vols and his love of the Florida Gators, Robert always made it a
friendly competition. Robert was an amazing husband to his wife, a true friend to his chosen brothers, and a loving
member of his family. Robert never met a stranger and was great at giving advice. Robert was a Christian and
valued his walk with God
Robert met the love of his life, Sarah Griffin, 17 years ago and together they lived out their love story to the fullest.
Together the two grew and thrived as husband and wife and enjoyed making each other laugh. Robert and Sarah
embodied their vows right up until the end.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; loving wife, Sarah Griffin Green; Mother Marilyn Lawrence, Mother-inlaw Sarah Griffin; Great Aunts: Lena Wright and Iva Ezekial; Great Uncle James (Lynne) Wright, Aunts: LaJander
