Robert Edward Manning was born July 26, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee to Robert Manning, Jr and Farrah Haynes. He departed this life February 28, 2019 at the Alive Hospice residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Robert attended East High School in East Nashville. He professed hope in Christ at an early age. In later years he was a faithful member of the Stokers Lane Church of God where he sung in the Males Choir, on the Deacons ministry, taught Sunday school and drove the church van when needed.

Robert love to sing, talk and be around his family. But most of all he loved his pastor, Bishop John W. Batts, II and the Stokers Lane Church of God family.

Robert worked as a Recorded Press with United Powers Press for a number of years. He was a kind hearted person and would do anything for anybody when asked.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Manning, Jr. and Farrah Haynes.
He leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Melinda Manning; devoted son, James Russell Manning (Laken); devoted daughters, Jamiee Hayes (Antonio Hayes), Rosetta Keeling and Brittany Manning; six grandchildren; siblings, Winnie Fuentes (Robert), Winnetta Banks (Clarence), Henrietta Taylor and Thelma Manning; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; devoted friend, Lamont Walton .
