Mr. Ronnie William Sta ord Sr. was born August 14, 1953, in Nashville, TN to the late Hattie Wells Sta ord he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Fannie M. Dew, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and devoted broth- er-in-law, Wilford Rodgers. He departed this life peacefully on December 14, 2018.

Ronnie was a ectionally known as Jelly Bean, Big Daddy and Coach. He was educated in Metro Nashville Public Schools where he played football, wrestled, and vice-president of his senior class Pearl High class of 1972.

Ronnie gave his life to Christ and was baptized at King Solomon Mis- sionary Baptist Church by the late Pastor Morgan Babb. On June 12, 1982 he married his wife Danita who he met at East Park under a big oak tree. is union was blessed with 2 sons, Antwain and Ronnie Jr. He worked 38 years at Metro Water Services until he retired in 2016. For 18 years he spent his spare time coaching Junior Pro Football a love of his life. Ronnie always feed everybody who came across the threshold.

With pleasant memories to always cherish, he leaves behind a devot- ed wife of 36 years, Danita J. Sta ord; sons, Antwain (Wendy) Wells & Ronnie Jr. (Quanita) Sta ord; grandchildren, Precious Freeman, Juan Lewis, Davyon Cox, Dejuan Cox, Latavious Ivey, Marquis Staf- ford, Quaniya Wright and Samari “Cookie” Sta ord; mother-in-law, Bettye Mitchell; siblings, Nolene Smith-Columbus, OH, Barbara Bell and Carolyn Sanders; in-laws, Peggy Sta ord, Angleton, TX, Yolanda Mitchell, Vickie Wells, Lori (Michael) Miller, Bolivar, TN and Kevin Sr. (Shauntae) Wells; numerous nephews & nieces, devoted nieces, Megan (Joe) Gregory & Joni Wells; very faithful and devoted friends, Kelly (Jennifer) Murphy, Willie (Terry) Short, Sam (Pam) Adams, Larry Hunter, Clarence Toran and John “Mo Black” Moore; a host of cousins, other relatives, many friends and God children.
