Sallie Mai Miller departed this life on June 17, 2021. She was born on June 12, 1949 to the late Sam and Mamie Braden. She precedes in death her mother and father Sam and Mamie Braden, mother and father in law Vera and Allen Sr. Miller, brothers George Corder, Sam and James Braden, sisters Lois Wilson, Dorothy Cunningham and Bernice Braden.


She received her education in the Davidson County Public School System. She graduated from Cameron High School in 1967. She was a member of the First Baptist Church South Inglewood until her health began to fail.


Sallie leaves to cherish her memory as follows; Her very devoted husband of 51 years, Allen Miller Jr; sons, Allen III (Cynthia) and Duan Sr. (Sandy); daughter, Adrienne; 13 grandchildren, Marquis, Nicollette, Davuan, Duan Jr., Odaisha, Azia, Destiny, Londyn, Lyriq, Greg, De’Arice, Jiron, and Ashley; 8 great grandchildren, Shondon Jr., Nylah, Azaria, Duan III, DeMario, Greg Jr, Silas, and Eniyla; 3 sisters, Margret Martin, Mamie (Prince) Hammonds, and Ernestine Davidson; sisters-in-law, Wilma Jean Braden, Fayelee Braden and Mona (Michael) Singleton; brothers in law, Thomas Miller and Michael Miller; she also leaves to cherish a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends; devoted friends, D’Angelo McKnight and Shontay Daniel.
