Stanley Brown

Stanley Brown peacefully took flight to his heavenly home on November 18, 2021.


Stanley was born to Mary L. and Curley Lee Brown on December 9, 1945.


He attended Davidson County Schools, after high school he enlisted into the United States Army and did his tour of duty during the Vietnam War Crisis


Stanley was employed and retired from V.A. Medical Hospital.


Stanley was married to Sandra Northington Brown for 55 years. To this union they had one son, Shawn.


Reverend Brown was ordained in the ministry at Star of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Adams, Tennessee. He later joined Edenwold Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained until his death. In his spare time Stanley loved to read and paint by water color.


He is preceded in death by sister Lillian Holland and brothers, William Cheatham and Bobby Brown.


Those left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife, Sandra; sons, Shawn and other son, Stanley; grandchildren, Isaiah, Isabella, Noah and Alexus; brother, Herman Brown and sisters, Gloria (Joseph) Brown, Carolyn Pratter; brother- in-law, Charles Northington of Nashville, TN; sisters-in-law, Lena (Harold) Northington and Gracie (Reverend Johnny) Clemons of Springfield, TN; devoted niece, Elizabeth Lavender as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
