Thomas Eugene (Bone) Holt

Thomas Eugene (Bone) Holt, Age 68 of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:6-7
Thomas was born June 8, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee to Robert and Willie Mai Holt.
Thomas Holt was truly a servant of the Lord and touched many lives. He helped raise 33 children. He was well known in his neighborhood as open-hearted and would never turn his back on anyone. If they were hungry, he would feed them. If they needed a place to stay, he would open his doors. If they needed to talk, he would listen.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Willie Mai Holt; brother, Robert Holt; and one of his best fishing friends, Lynn Boner.
Thomas is survived by his brother, John W. Holt; nephews, Chris (Jennifer) Holt, and John Holt; niece, Shonda Holt; ex-sister-in-law, Audrey Bell; many cousins including, Margaret, Shondale, Thomas, Charles (aka-fruit); many close friends, Sasha, BJ, Wayne, Charles, Kristy and Tika.
