Walter L. Jordan entered into eternal rest, Monday, January 14, 2019; Lester was born September 4, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Nora Mai Jordan, whom he loved greatly. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Sherman Jordan, James Jordan and Bobby Jordan.
Walter accepted Christ at an early age at Roger Heights Baptist Church. He received his education in the Nashville Public School system. Midway though high school Walter decided to join the U.S. Jobs Corp. After the U.S. Job Corp, Walter worked various companies are Nashville.
Walter was a very reliable individual. He was also willing to help anyone with any odd job just for the sake of helping and making a positive difference in others lives.
Walter leaves to cherish his memories three children, Erwin (Jacquez) White, Nicole Robins and Walter Lawrence; grandchildren, Tamara White, Er`Neka White, Irwin White II, Kayson White, Brittney McGowan, Justen Robins, Ronielle Robins and Antione Howse; three great grandchildren, Isiah Robbins, Ariane Brandon and Juleon Brandon; sisters, Stella Word, Gwendolyn Falls of Atlanta, Gloria Hamer and Sandra (Darrell) Seay of Alabaster, AL; devoted brothers, Ernest (Brenda), Ronald, Cedric (Minnie), and Orlando Jordan; uncle, John (Norma) Jordan; sisters-in-law, Marcie and Kathleen Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Walters love and concern for his family and friends will be deeply missed.
