William Cyril Mckissack

William Cyril McKissack was born February 8, 1962 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of James William and Sarah Elizabeth McKissack. He departed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his residence.

William was educated in the Davidson County public schools and he was a graduate of Maplewood High School in the class of 1983.

William was a avid Dallas Cowboy fan, he loved watching all Cowboy shows, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, wrestling “John Cena”, and his favorite pass time was watching WWE Wrestling on Monday nights.

William was a kind and loving person who would selflessness give or help where ever or whenever he could. We will miss his smile and kind loving spirit.

William was preceded in death by parents, James William and Sarah Elizabeth Mckissack; sister, Willa J. McKissack Jenkins; brothers, James B. Caldwell and Robin M. McKissack.

He is survived by sisters, Peggy A. (William) Prowell, Velma M. Prowell, Mary F. McEwen, Betty R. McKissack and Tyowanna Y. McKissack; brothers, Reverend James G. McKissack, Leon W. McKissack, Rafael A. McKissack and Cedric L. McKissack; loving aunts, Esterlene McKissack, Lena M. Brown and Ann Caldwell; uncle, Thomas G. Caldwell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
