Willie Martin was born July 7, 1928 to the late Thomas Felix Martin and Mattie McKissack of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
Willie departed this earthly realm and spread his wings to live eternally with the Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Willie was married to Alma Martin whom he loved very dearly. He was educated in the Mount Pleasant School System. He served in the United States Army, he worked and retired form CSX Railroad. Willie enjoyed gardening, barbecuing, and sports. Willie will be missed by all who knew him.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Felix Martin & Mattie McKissack; sisters, Annie Pearl (George) Cannon & Rosalee (Alvin) Owens; niece, Bertha Polk.
Willie is survived by his wife, Alma Martin; sons, Roy (Rosa) Rodgers & Andrew Mathis; nieces, Juanita Lockridge, Rose Mickey Cannon, Barbara Ann (Ricky) James; nephews, George Andrew (Amanda) Cannon, Alvin (Barbara) Owens, Gary Cannon, Kenny Cannon as well as other relatives and friends.
