Aubrey Lee Moore, born on May 13, 1937 in Jeff, (Huntsville) Alabama, was a beloved member of Tabernacle of Praise church in Nashville, Tennessee. He passed away on an unspecified date, leaving behind cherished memories and a deep sense of loss.
Aubrey received his education in the Nashville Public Schools and proudly graduated in 1956. Following his graduation, he dedicated several years to serving his country as a member of the United States Army from December 31, 1962 until his honorable discharge in 1966.
Throughout his life, Aubrey worked for the Metro Board of Education from 1960 all the way until January 1, 1999. His dedication and commitment to his profession were evident in everything he did.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Aubrey found joy in watching football games and riding motorcycles. These hobbies allowed him to relax and appreciate the simple pleasures that life had to offer.
Aubrey's marriage to Georgetta Holbrooks in 1992 was a testimony to his capacity for love and commitment. During their union, they were blessed with two children who brought immeasurable happiness to their lives.
Preceded in death by a devoted wife, Margurite Lindsay Moore.
Left to cherish Aubrey's memory is his devoted daughter, Katherine Turner and Milton (Mary) Moore, the late Reginald Moore, Pamela Calloway; other children, Richard Majors, Bobbie, Sherrie and Shawn. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Darlean Crutcher, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and countless friends; who mourn the loss of such a remarkable individual.
In this time of profound sadness and reflection on Aubrey's life, let us remember him for the example of love and dedication he set for all those who had the privilege to know him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
