Clara E. Page of Nashville, TN passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 83. Clara was born to Johnny Campbell and Ida Mae Stratton on July 18, 1940.
Clara was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend to many. She was a graduate of Peal High School. Clara was fondly known by many such as Mama, Mama Clara, Grandmama Clara, and Granny.
Clara enjoyed being around her family, going shopping, out to eat, and listening to her gospel and blues music. She loved her church Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under E.L Waller. She was one of the oldest on the mother board and church member. One of her favorite dishes that everyone loved was her chicken and dressing.
After 30 years of dedicated service Clara retired from Metro General Hospital.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Campbell and Ida Mae Stratton; three brothers Milford and James Stratton, and Robert Campbell.
Clara is survived by her husband George Page; 4 children Ronald, Gregory, Sharon (Nathaniel) Armstrong, and Elaine; 28 grandchildren and 10 great grandkids; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
While she left us too soon, the impact of love she had on her family and friends will be felt for years to come.
