Deborah Regina Johnson was born June 8th 1955, in Nashville Tennessee. Her parents are the late Beulah Pegram and late Frank Newsom. On January 26, 2024 Deborah transitioned from this world to her eternal home. At an early age she knew she would thrive in life; Deborah found our heavenly father at an young age and has never stop loving him. Growing up, she had found love and peace with her husband David Johnson. They both have cherish their marriage for a loving fifty-one years together.
In their marriage they both gave life to their daughters Tanya and Tiffany Johnson. Continuing with her life she would cherish, spread, and create memories with those she loves as if they were her own.
Although we may know her as Mrs. Johnson she was known to us as a wife, momma, granny, auntie, lil Debbie, Mrs. J, and Deb.
She graduated from Pearl High School, and then preceded her education at Fisk University.
She then would go on to work at the YMCA becoming a site director. She would connect and make memories with those through the church, School, Sunday school, work, and family.
As Deborah arrives home she is reunited with her parents Beulah Pegram & Frank Newsom, her brother Frank Rucker, her uncle Clarence Hatcher, Felix Rucker Jr., and auntie Birdie Brimm, Gwendolyn Rucker wells, and other love ones that welcomes her to her eternal home.
As her legacy continues she leaves memories to cherish to her Husband; David Johnson, Daughters; Tanya and Tiffany Johnson, Grandkids; Samari and Samya Brown, Sisters; Sandy Duncan, Judy, Griffin, Tron, Pixi Duncan Cousins; Jacquelin (James) White, Brenda, Clarence (Dale), Tamera, Tyrone, Michelle Nieces; Angelique, Kelly Rucker, Shanika, Mercedes, Vanessa Duncan, Ebony Buckner Nephews; Frank Jr., Fabion, Treygan, Michael, Derrick, Michael, Michael Gray, Jermaine, Anthony Samuel, Godson; Michael Armstrong, and her dearest friend Edna Fitzgerald and a host of many loved
ones.
