Haley’s Journey on this side began on May 13th, 2000. She was born in Starkville Ms. to her mother Vernesser Reed on one beautiful-Mother’s Day Weekend. She was the youngest of 5 children. Haley was a gift to her mother and everyone who knew and loved her. There are no words to describe how much her family will miss her beautiful smile, her laughter, her kind and gentle spirit, her beautiful and authentic soul, and the inspiration that she brought to everyone around her. At the age of 4, with her soft-spoken voice, Haley would always ask her mother to pick her up so that she could touch the moon and stars. It was Haley’s vivid imagination that inspired her mother to write children’s stories.
Haley accepted Christ and was baptized at 8-years-old at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, Tn. Haley later attended The Church of Joel where she worshiped and was actively involved in the Church’s dance ministry. Haley graduated from Station Camp High School in Gallatin, TN on May 18th, 2018. Haley attended Volunteer State Community College where she was aspiring to become a registered nurse someday. Because of her compassion and desire to care for those in need, Haley worked as a caregiver taking care of the sick and elderly. Haley enjoyed laughter, humor, music, canoeing, going to the beach, and spending time with her friends and family. Haley’s journey ended in her bedroom on April 14th, 2024, where she fell asleep in her bed and transitioned.
Haley leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Vernesser Reed, her father, Ronald Johnson, two sisters, Courtney Reed, and Hydeia Davis, two brothers, Kyle Davis and Yalen Reed, two nieces Chloe Alley and Amelia Davis, five nephews, Timothy Noonan, Isaiah Davis, Noah Davis, Nehemiah Davis, and Kyle Davis Jr. Her grandmother, Lethia Reed and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friendsFriday, April 26, 2024
