Jesse L. Dean, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He leaves a host of devoted family members and friends to cherish his memory. 

Jesse L. Dean, beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 76. Jesse was born on November 3rd, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 7th child to his parents Ora and Percy Henry Dean. His biological father who preceded him in death was Jesse Leggs to which he shared 4 siblings with.

Jesse grew up in a close-knit family and enjoyed having fun and making people laugh. He was a “DIE HARD” Dallas Cowboy fan and would let everyone know! Jesse loved going to Casinos and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing at the lake. He was employed at Vanderbilt Hospital and Percy Priest Lake for many years. Jesse graduated from Cameron High School in 1965. He later married Carol Reeves Dean and to this union their son Terrence Lamont Dean was born in 1970.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents and all his maternal sibling’s, Louise Hardy, Frankie Dean, Percy Henry Dean, Jewel “JD” Dean, Elizabeth Hall, and Betty Dean; one fraternal sibling, George “Beddie Will” Anderson.

Jesse is survived by devoted sons, Terrance Dean and Amando Watkins, grandchildren, Anthony Dean, Teaira Dean, and Tramiyah Watkins, one great grandchild, Anthony Dean Jr., brother, Walter Henry Anderson, sisters, Shalle Anderson and Amany Anderson, devoted girlfriend, Melissa Smith and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
