Jonathan Moorer was born in Chattanooga, TN. to Willie & Annie Moorer on September 24,1960. Jonathan passed away peacefully at home on 04/30/2024. He was preceded in death by both parents, a sister Wendy Craig, and a brother Forrest Moorer.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years Cynthia, Sons Jordan of the home & Jonathan Moorer Jr. of South Carolina,
Daughters Taylor Giles, of Virginia, Marcie Stanford & husband Lesheldrick and Deshea Ward, of Georgia.
8 grandchildren. Alajah Stanford, Iysic (Issac) Bomhomme, Lesheldrick Moorer Jr., Ny-a-jah Stanford, Mkena Stanford, Kayla Ward, Marcus Ward, & Jiquavious Ward.
Siblings: Vincent Moorer, Sonya Harrison & husband Edwin, Tonnette Saunders & husband Ronald of Chattanooga, TN.
Jonathan loved cooking, especially barbecue ribs. He was a foodie, he also loved eating his cooking. He was a techie big time.
He was a lover of all genres of music. He loved video games, movies, his family, and he loved helping the friends. He was a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School in Chattanooga, TN.
Jonathan dedicated his life to being a faithful servant of Jehovah and symbolized his dedication as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 07/03/1999.
He loved talking to people about God’s Kingdom and how it is the only solution to mankind’s problems.
He was a natural at the doors when talking to people about the Bible.
